Cream For Your Coffee?

This image started as a spin off from the local photo club monthly competition that had to do with shadows and reflections. I shot some showing the full length of the reflection of the coffee cup to meet the need for that one and then changed lenses. By using three high speed flash units and working in a dark room I can freeze the drops of milk dropping into the cup of coffee. This frame is later in the cycle is what you would see after the initial collision of the drop with the surface and after the crown flattens out. It is where the big part of the "splash" really starts to form

Enjoy your coffee. Time for me to get to work.

I hope you enjoy the image and you have a great week.

Mike

The countdown continues on the 2010 Return To Alaska trip. More info in the links below.

I have started an Alaska 2010 web site here with current information on where we stand, where we will be going and what we will be doing. When we return from the trip site photos and such will be added like I did on the Alaska 2005 site.
