04/15/10 - Week 175 Young Male Anna's Hummingbird I realized today that I had been slipping a little on posting hummingbird shots so here is an older one. This is a young Anna's male. Most of the time I won't even bother to photograph them when they are at a feeder. I like this one because it shows how his color is filling in. I would guess that he is about a year old. It will be another couple of years before he has all of his colors. Don't' forget, clicking on the image to the left gets you the large version. I hope you enjoy the image and you have a great week.
