05/30/10 - Week 180

By The Time You Read This I'll Be Gone

If that doesn't sound like the title to a bad country song I don't know what does!

Depending on what day you read this we are either on our way up to Vancouver, B.C. to catch the ship on Monday or if you get it later in the week we are shipboard and in Alaska somewhere.

The photo this week is one I took five years ago. It is at Canada Place in Vancouver, B.C. It also happens to be where many of the cruise ships arrive and depart during the Alaska cruise season. The place is kind of a photographers dream if you are into shooting shapes, lines and patterns. This shot was taken from our balcony on the Norwegian Sun on the last trip to Alaska in 2005. There was a Bald Eagle sitting on the top on one of the "masts" for a while.

Next weeks photo will probably be from College Fjord in Alaska or it may end up being my favorte shot from the week.
